Born and raised in Tehran, Ehsun is an Iranian graphic designer whose work centers around sharing stories. For his comic-inspired works, Ehsun creates mythical creatures – which he puts into a sequence of pictures or animations – that are designed to leave the spectator in a special, esoteric state of emotion. His approach is largely traditional: he mostly uses black-coloured ink on white paper and uses computer software to refine his work. We caught up with Ehsun and his artist collective in Tehran to discover more about the artist and his setting.
