HARAM
Fashion designer, free creative
Leather knives, sole scissors, shoe glue and a sewing machine. These are the utensils Kurdish-German artist Haram uses to design her elaborate headpieces made from upcycled sneakers. “However, the most important tool for me is my body,” she told us. “I always use my own body to drape the design over.”

The experimental spirit of the Berlin-based creative is illustrated in her strange, futuristic, yet fancy designs. Her inspiration comes from her colourful surroundings, the deep chats she has with her friends and with strangers on the street, and her own chaotic lifestyle.
